Dave Sarachan, who has been appointed as an interim manager of United States, claims that his team has to avoid committing unforced errors when they take on Peru in a friendly match. USA have been going through a difficult period in recent times. Since June, the team has managed only a solitary victory in six attempts and this was a narrow 1-0 success over Mexico. Even though United states have faced some top opposition during this period, such a meagre return of results does not bode well for the national team going into the next round of competitive qualification games.
After the recent 4-2 defeat against Colombia, Dave Sarachan says that the team has to cut out unforced errors if they are to start winning football matches.Sarachan has been appointed as the interim replacement for Bruce Arena, who was sacked after the national team failed to reach the World Cup 2018 in surprising circumstances. Peru may not offer much competition on paper considering that the team are one of the lower ranked outfits in South America, but they have been doing well of late and even managed to reach the World Cup 2018 – their first World Cup tournament since 1982.Sarachan feels that Peru are well-equipped to punish any mistakes made by the USA.
