USA attacker Pulisic signed for Chelsea from Dortmund at the start of last season and he was a key player for the Blues under club legend Frank Lampard in his debut season in the Premier League. Pulisic scored in the FA Cup final in his first season at Chelsea and went off injured as the Blues lost an early lead to lose 2-1 to Arsenal thanks to the brace from Gunners skipper Pierre-EmerickAubameyang.

Pulisic didn’t nail down a regular place at Chelsea in his second season at the club especially under new manager Thomas Tuchel due to the numerous attacking options for the German tactician. The Blues had splashed the cash on attacking players like Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz at the start of his second campaign with the Blues.

Chelsea ended the latest season (second season for USA player Christian Pulisic) with the Champions League title thanks to the 1-0 win over Manchester City in the final played at the EstadioDragao in Porto at the end of last month. USA internationalPulisic came on in the second half of that Champions League final to become only the first American to appear in the final of Europe’s premier club competition. Pulisic could have finished off the Citizens when he came off the bench in the second half but his shot was not on target when put through on goal.

Pulisicadded the Nations League title to the Champions League title as he scored one of the goals to help USA to a 3-2 comeback win over Mexico in the final of the competition.
