This is according to the publication from ESPN which revealed thatthe USA (United States of America) national team star opted to stay with Catalan giants Barcelona rather than leave to sign for Premier League outfit Arsenal and Bavarian giants Bayern Munich.

United States midfielder Weston McKenniehas been on the radar of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur since last summer according to the report from Italian publication Calciomercato. The USA international was linked with a move to Spurs at the start of last season while Jose Mourinho was still at the club.
