JUVENTUS EYEING PULISIC SWOOP

Italian giants Juventus have set their sights on Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic according to the latest transfer reports coming out of the media in Italy. The specific report from Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that the Old Lady are keen on signing the USA (United States of America) international this summer.

It was said that the USA national team talisman is seen as a perfect replacement for Paolo Dybala who will leave the club at the end of his contract this summer. Argentine international Dybala was offered a new contract by Juventus only for officials to take the offer off the table. To this effect, the petite attacker will leave the Italian club this summer with Serie A rivals Inter Milan leading the free transfer race to sign him.

USA international Pulisic is said to be frustrated with his lack of playing time at Chelsea and he could leave the club this summer despite the fact that he has two years left on his contract in West London. His father, Mark Pulisic expressed his anger at the situation via a tweet that has been deleted earlier this week as he questioned the lack of playing time endured by the player under Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea. The tweet from his father came on the back of his substitute appearance in the 1-0 defeat at Everton in the league on Sunday.

Pulisic has seven goals and two assists in 33 games for Chelsea in all competitions, but he has been a substitute in 17 of those games. Chelsea boss Tuchel has opted for the attacking trio of Kai Havertz, Mason Mount and Timo Werner in recent weeks, while the likes of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, USA international Pulisic and Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech have had to contend with a place on the bench rather than in the starting XI.

Italian publication Tuttosport recently revealed that Pulisic is on a 15-man list of transfer targets this summer at Juventus.
