ticket prices are set like that to generate revenue to pay for the expansion. They sold out on opening night. Apparently June 23rd is a religous holiday which is why the attendance for this particular game was less than it was on opening night. And again that 60,000 seat former olympic stadium is a dump that’s falling apart.

All i remember is the TFC one
How would playing in that crumbling dump be a much better facility? Capacity wise its obviously much larger but Saputo doesn’t own it, which means the team cannot control its revenue because it has to rent the place out. The big O is a venerable albeit nearly obsolete stadium. The expansion of Stade Saputo will serve them well in the long run.

I watched every single Montreal game and Mapp has been dominant. He could of have had 5 goals if he didn’t hit the cross bar as oftenly.
